Happy Mothers Day to you!
I want to wish everyone a wonderful Mothers Day this weekend. I am so excited, finally, I will plant my garden, I think Spring is finally here! So, this weekend my family is going to help plant a few flowers, spruce up the yard and get my vegetable and herb garden planted.
This cute little wine glass is one of many that I made this year for friends and family! I originally had seen a similar type of glass, on ETSY. I love to support other artists, but it was late in the week to order and I needed a gift fast! So with the help of my dear friend over at Cottleville Crafts, Sheryl Guffey, she made the vinyl lettering and crown and I supplied the glassware. Done in an hour or so!
I think these are FUN! Being a Mother is absolutely the best job I could ever have, and sometimes I need to just remember:
Keep Calm, and Mother On!
As I promised, here is a sneak peak of my daughters "Boho Chic" bedroom remodel I have been working on. The daybed I just finished the other day. I love how I t turned out. It is like a little sofa for her. The fabric was a fun pattern, so I kept the design of the bed simple, but I think the way it turned out is fabulous!
Well, I will be putting the finishing touches on the room soon and revealing it all, so stay tuned. I will have a tutorial on how I made and upholstered the bed. I am off to gardening and then relaxing for the weekend. I just want to Thank Sheryl Guffey again for her help and always fun chats over at "COTTLEVILLE CRAFTS", in Historic Cottleville. I love going to this charming little town(only 5 minutes away), it has great little boutiques, wine gardens, a chocolate bar and family meat market! If you are ever in the St. Charles, MO area be sure to check out Cottleville.
Happy Mothers Day Weekend!
Talk to you soon.
