Happy Fall!  I am glad to be back, I have been gone far too long.  I have so much to share from the past few months.  I appreciate my friend and fellow blogger  Alisha Lampley over at www.coilylocks.com for the consistent nudging and positive thoughts she has been sending my way this summer.

I thought, since it is officially Fall, lets start with some Fall Decor Ideas!

I love my beach themed family room, but going into fall,  I wanted to warm things up a bit and  create a bit more cozy space!  I love pumpkins, gourds, mums, feathers, pinecones, apples etc., but this year I added some spice, I asked for an Cowhide rug for my birthday and it looks SMASHING! (A huge thanks to my sweet husband for choosing the perfect coloring on this beauty from Argentina!)  I added this cute little Carved Teak Wood coffee table from West Elm and we went from summer and beachy to fall and cozy!

Here is a photo of the complete fall room.

I filled my lantern with orange lights
to create a little nest for my owl.
( He is cute, but my little niece was recently visiting and thought
my owl was on fire! Maybe I should rethink this!)

Just a few feathers added to one of my trusty white porcelain pitchers next to a wood carved pumpkin.

I moved my collection of wine corks, along with the antique scale and a ginormous (yes, I used this word...I just love it) pinecone we
collected along Highway 30 A in Florida with a few other elements to create a simple fall grouping.

The dining room I pulled out my dough bowl and added faux pumpkins, a few pinecones,
acorns, leaves and my antlers to create a stunning centerpiece.

I love fall, and hope to share more with you soon.  I could not contain my excitement over my
cowhide rug and how much it pulled my room together!

I have not been doing a lot of photography lately, so these were just added quickly via my iPhone, still working out kinks trying to figure out my new photo software and my MAC.

I have the COOLEST project to share with you, I just finished completely renovating my teen sons bedroom into a Industrial Vintage hangout.  So stay tuned...I promise I will be back!

Have a Great Friday!
