HARVEST TABLE DECOR FOR THANKSGIVING

Do you love fall and the colors and textures as much as I do?
I love the earthy colors and the beauty of nature this time of year, the crisp in the air, the excitement of  holidays around the corner, the memories created with families and friends over the holiday season!

I love to dress a table.  Table scapes are so fun and I love to think outside of the box by using creativity making each event unique and special.

I thought I would share with you my Thanksgiving tablescape.
I decided on Harvest Table Decor.
I  used the bounty of the season to keep things simple and comfortable.  Being grateful for the blessing of family  is what we are going to reflect on this year.

I kept it simple this year, using what I had and creating a gorgeous natural statement.

I created each place setting using simple Chargers that I had spray painted with Chalkboard paint, and simple white dishes.  I wrapped mason jars with burlap and white ribbon for charming drink ware.  To add a little pizzaz I simply set some of my faux fruit on each plate, I used my Grandmothers silver to for a touch of elegance.

I wrapped each chair with burlap ribbon.

The centerpiece was simple:

I used an old barn plank from my Grandfathers barn ( I had in garage) and simply placed in the center of the table, I used real pumpkins and gourds along with a few plastic I had in my decor tub.  Just adding small votives and pillar candles.

You can never go wrong with real candle light.  There is just something about the glow from candles to create a cozy setting.

I cannot wait for Thanksgiving this year, to share a meal with my family and enjoy the moment.  Remembering to be thankful for the simple things in life.

How are you going to dress your table this year?
I would love to hear and or see your tablescapes, please feel free to leave comments or links to your photos.  I cannot wait to see your tables.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thanks for reading.

Jeanne
