My latest projects…Before and After.

One of my latest projects!! Also one of my favorites.  I really love how this little chair turned out.  I custom mixed the paint color and applied a dark wax.  The upholstery is a fun mix of prints.

The finish is almost of silvery grey.

This is what she looked like before I started:
( yes, I called the chair a she!!!)

I wanted to modernize the look, so I forwent the buttons and tufting, and added a new cushion for a smooth finish on the back of the chair.  This is really a solid chair and the color scheme turned out fantastic!  I really hate to part with it!  But I purchased this piece at an auction to
refurbish and sell.  So be it!

FOR SALE CHAIR:  $225.00

The next piece turned out awesome as well.  My little cedar chest:

I painted with Annie Sloan Chalk paint, stenciled the numbers and then antiqued.  I also used a dark wax to create the vintage look I wanted.
I think this would make a great coffee table.  Again, I hate to part with this piece, because it actually looked great in my family room….

Thanks for reading.  I hope to share a few more projects with you soon.  I recently started renting space to sell Fabulous Vintage finds  and my furniture in Historic St Charles Missouri.
I hope to share some photos and more information about that in a future post!!
Have a Fabulous Weekend!

Dear Jeanne, I'm so happy that you came by and left a comment, because it brought me back to your inspiring website. Your chair make-over is incredible. It doesn't even look like the same chair! Love the pattern you chose.
    Keep in touch!
