My visit to Texas Antiques Week, and Bluebonnets

Howdy!  I just returned from a fantastic trip to Round Top Texas for Antiques Week!
I had no idea what to expect.  I had never seen so many antiques and vendors in all my life.   We are talking for miles from little town to town along Highway 237 are thousands of tents offering antiques, art, salvage, rusty memorabilia and more!
I left one week ago today and flew to Dallas to meet my sister in law, we drove south for about 5 hours and enjoyed unbelievable lush scenery and the bluebonnets...oh my!  These gorgeous lavender colored blooms grow wild everywhere, we stopped many times along the highway to take pics.
(Unfortunately, we both forgot our cameras, so all pics are from my iPhone)

This is just a few pics of what the side of the road little shopping  looks like.

I just love architectural salvage, this place is just yummy!  My mistake?  I flew, so I could not bring  large items home with me.

This cool piece of vintage nostalgia is sitting outside of The JUNK GYPSIES Headquarters!

My sister in-law and I outside of Junk Gypsies!  Really cool store, with cool style.

Not All who Wander are Lost…(love this quote.)

I know this is a random photo, but there are longhorn cattle all along side the road, just everywhere.  They really are incredible and majestic creatures.  Just gorgeous.

This is a just a small clip of my trip to Round Top Antique Fair.
I hope you enjoyed.   If you ever have the chance to get to travel south and
see this giant Antique Show, you should go!
(call me, I would love to join you.)

Have a great weekend!
