How to Make Pom Pom Garland and Our New Baby Girl!!!

Hello Friends!

It has been a while since my last post!  If you follow me on Facebook, then

you may have already heard our "Big Announcment"!!

We have a new baby!!  We our officially foster parents of a beautiful and busy

little 15 month old baby girl!  So, life as we know it has been in a bit of an uproar lately!

Trying to figure everything out with a baby in our life all at once is going

pretty smoothly, but just a bit slow for my business!!  I have had to put

most things "on hold" for awhile to  make room for BABY!  Baby proofing,

rearranging schedules, lack of sleep, chasing a running baby that pulls everything

out in site and keeps going is FUN, but has its moments as well!!

Our lives and hearts are forever changed.  We are happy to be apart of this little girls

life and give her a chance at a loving and stable home and family life.

At the moment, bygone are the days of a very clean and straightened house,  and

hello to lots of colorful plastic toys EVERYWHERE!!

(Yes, even the family room is now extra colorful!)

(…and the kitchen…)

I had shared in my last post about my office remodel, which now is playroom, schoolroom,

music room and a very small corner for my office!!

You can read about that here:

I recently added a fun decoration to the room with Pom Pom Garlands.

The baby LOVES to look at these, she sometimes lays on  the floor looking up

at the bright colors.  This was super easy to make and adds a fun flair to the room.

(My once beautiful home office is a bit busier these days… and still a work in progress)

How to Make these Pom Pom Garlands:

Three simple materials:

Hot Glue Gun
Pom Pom Balls (sold in bags at Michaels or Hobby Lobby)

I simply just started gluing the Pom Pom Balls in various sizes and colors

all along the bolt of ribbon.

I used about 3 bolts of this thin ribbon to create what you see in the pictures.

I know this is a simple and quick post, but just wanted to keep you updated with all the

happenings going on here at I Dream of Jeanne Design.

As we adjust our schedules and lives I hope to do more posts soon!

I have photos to take of our new "shared bedroom design".

We turned our tween daughters bedroom into a shared bedroom for her and the baby.

We accomplished this with simple and elegant colors and design.

Can you say "gold and white?"

I hope to post the "Shared Bedroom Reveal" soon!!

So stay tuned….

Thank you so much for reading today and I will be sharing more of our

adventures with baby as we go along!

Have a wonderful day!!
